| In recent years, the intercity railway has developed rapidly in China. However, due to a relatively late start as well as less research of intercity railway, it turns out to be very necessary to research the transportation organization of intercity railway facing more and more severe competition from passenger transportation market. This can improve the core competitiveness of intercity railway and the level of passenger service. Passenger train operation plan, which is the core of the transportation organization of intercity railway, reflects the passenger transportation service quality. At the same time, train stopping schedule plan, which determines the total passenger-time, the node service frequency and the economic benefits of railway enterprise, is an important part of train plan. Therefore, this paper studies the intercity railway train stopping schedule plan systematically, and the main contributions are as follows:First of all, this paper analyzes the related issues of intercity railway train stopping schedule plan on theory, including the relation between train stopping schedule plan and train plan and the advantages/disadvantages as well as adaptive conditions of intercity railway train stopping pattern. Based on the general analysis of influence factors of intercity railway train stopping schedule plan, the principles of making intercity railway train stopping schedule plan are presented.Secondly, an intercity railway train stopping schedule optimization model is put forward in this paper. Passenger nodes are divided into different grades based on passenger flow and system clustering algorithm. Then, this paper builds a multi-objective model, including minimizing the passenger’s total travel time loss and minimizing the equilibrium coefficient of train stopping schedule. In addition, according to the characteristics of the model, hybrid particle swarm algorithm is presented.Thirdly, this paper analyzes the characteristics of passenger flow and train plan of Shanghai-Nanjing intercity high-speed railway in detail. An empirical analysis (from the angle of construction and space-time distribution of passenger flow) on the passenger flow of Shanghai-Nanjing intercity high-speed railway is conducted, which provides the necessary data to optimize train stopping schedule of Shanghai-Nanjing intercity high-speed railway.Finally, the intercity railway train stopping schedule optimization model is applied on Shanghai-Nanjing intercity high-speed railway for case study. The train running time of Shanghai-Nanjing intercity high-speed railway are divided into peak hours and non-peak hours according to the characteristics of passenger flow. Further, based on the classification of passenger nodes, this paper gives the optimal train stopping schedule plan through solving the proposed model with the hybrid particle swarm algorithm in MATLAB. Compared with the original train stopping schedule, the optimal schedule has an advantage in established assessment indexes, which shows that the model and the algorithm are very practical. |
