Study On Roadside Greenbelt Landscape Design Based On Jinshi Cultrue

With the rapid development of urban economy and cultural transition, people often complain that the urban street landscape seems to follow the same pattern, of no characteristics, and how to manifest city culture has become the focus of modern city construction. The roadside greenbelt is regarded as a carrier to demonstrate street landscape, because of its openness and diversity, which is taken as the city’s facade to be remembered.With urban culture as the object and roadside greenbelt as a cultural carrier, this paper has investigated and surveyed the existing problems and designed methods in the cultural expression of roadside greenbelt in Jishi city. The main results are as follows:1.Six Types of cultural resources in Jishi city have been summarized by looking up books and literature:historic culturen、ethnic culture、folk culture、religious culture、 Lishui culture、food culture。2.Through the present status investigation of the city roadside greenbelt, the main problems are found:①street greenbelts are little and distributed unevenly;②site service facilities are insufficient and deficient;③the theme which is not clear and has no prominent features doesn’t highlight the unique cultural resources in Jishi city;④the plant configuration form is unitary without obvious gradation;⑤soft and hard landscapes are imbalanced. In view of the problems, corresponding countermeasures are raised:①the construction of plus street greenbelt should be intensified, and the existing green space should be transformed reasonably;②cultural resources in Jishi city need to be exploited in-depth, and the unique landscape should be created;③ypes embodied by roadside greenbelt should take its size and scale into consideration;④reasonable selection of plant type should be made and plant landscape strengthened.3.Based on design principles of landscape and expressive carriers of culture, the main presentation of urban culture in roadside greenbelt are put forward:①retention, which means the reservation of old culture;②reproduction, that is to say, representation without any change;③cxtraction, which refers to extract classical elements;④transformation, namely, reintegration for conversion;⑤symbolization, i.e. the conversion of the virtual into the concrete.4.Taking Jiang Nan square as an example, this paper has proposed to transforming designing schema in many aspects, ranging from overall planning concepts to local culture items, and rational arrangement of plants as well as space are matched to make it to be a roadside greenbelt with profound culture.On the basis of in-depth exploitation of urban cultural resources, the landscape design of roadside greenbelts in citied should extract The most classical elements of culture with the best reflection of its unique culture should be extracted and applied to streetscape design, in order to forge a true roadside greenbelt landscape of unique culture.
