The passenger flow transportation modes of a high-speed railway are the premise and the fundamental link for railway transportation enterprises to formulate high-speed railway operation plans, and are closely related with vital interests of the railway transportation enterprises and passengers. The characteristics, influencing factors and key research contents of related issues of the passenger flow transportation modes of the high-speed railway take on a more complex and diversified new changing trend along with rapid development of the high-speed railway, and therefore research on reasonable selection and assembly of the passenger flow transportation modes of the high-speed railway has new requirements and significance, shown as a focus in this paper. Actual operation of the high-speed railway in China serves as the background of this paper, and related theories and model methods about reasonable selection and assembly of the passenger flow transportation modes of the high-speed railway are researched. This paper has important significance in fully exerting the effects and the advantages of various passenger flow transportation modes under various line linkage conditions and can provide references for formulating high-speed railway traffic organization schemes in China in the future. The main work and achievement of this paper are as follows:On the basis of case analysis on high-speed rail lines and high-speed trains in our country, the cross-line passenger flow transportation mode of high-speed railway could be classified into two basic modes:through mode and transfer mode, and when different rail lines crossed, the through mode can be divided into high-speed rail cross-line through mode and medium-speed rail cross-line through mode. And we analyze the characteristics and applicable conditions of various passenger transportation mode. The intuitionistic analysis results of the characteristics showed that the transfer mode has more advantages for transport enterprises, and that the through model has more advantages for passengers. Further, we explored the influence factors on the passenger transportation mode selection from the aspect of transportation enterprise and passenger respectively and attempted to describe the factors with a quantitative method.According to the characteristics and influence factors analysis of passenger transportation mode, the author built rational selection model for the cross-line passenger transportation mode based on the transportation enterprise generalized yield and passenger generalized travel cost. Besides, all parameters affecting the model precision were improved and increased, and sensitivity analysis was carried out with Critical Success Factors (CFS) combined with analysis method of numerical simulation on the change of the key parameters and the choice tendency change. The OD Beijing-Xi’an, Xi’an-Guangzhou across the same level rail line and the OD Beijing-Taiyuan, Taiyuan-Guangzhou across the different level rail line were chosen for example analysis. And the results indicated that the optimal ratio of through model among transportation passenger flow in Beijing-Xi’an, Xi’an-Guangzhou, Beijing-Taiyuan, Taiyuan-Guangzhou was92.95%,83.28%,94.46%and78.01%respectively, and further the analysis determined the corresponding train for the two models so as to optimize the train operation plan according to the rational selection and distribution of passenger transportation mode.Passenger transportation modes aided decision scheme query system was constructed for passengers based on Visual Studio2010and Access with C#as the programming language. The system function is demonstrated on the basis of the actual high-speed rail timetable data. It could help passengers conveniently to make effective query and decision corresponding to different passenger transportation modes. Also the indicators of each passenger transportation mode are shown to the passengers effectively by system design so that the advantages of each passenger transportation mode are really into full play.
