Climate has duality of time and space.lt tends to be a potential force about the region’s history and cultural customs and other deep cultural framework. One of the important thrust of duality for climate is also affecting traditional residential of regional expression, and that is an expression of climate adaptation.Adaptive expression of traditional houses in the village for climate is often at the beginning of Village Location, when the spatial layout of the building function, the plan for space construction will affect the climate of self-adjustment.This adjustment does not interfere with modern science and technology and no strong intervention in the natural environment, and it is a mild passive climate adaptation strategies.The impact of climate for vernacular architecture and traditional villages on time performance characteristics has Long-term and cyclical, it play a role in space which is very easily influenced by the surface topography.lt direct effects on a smaller scale for villages and residential areas.Topography climate and microclimate become the dominant influence climate, and the regional climate is laid major climatic background.The main scope of this research area is Dali Yunlong.Yunlong County is located in the Rift Valley area in western Yunnan Lancang (The Hengduan Mountains, one of the mountains transection), within the mountainous area of up to 90%, and domestic vertical vertical drop of up to 2930m.Yunlong native settlements and houses with distinctive features of mountain, Disparity in altitude mountain villages and houses fall so strongly influenced by the complex three-dimensional mountain climate.Therefore, the local residential experience long self-adjustment to create a series of strategies to adapt to climate, it has distinct regional local characteristics.But now, local architectural design is just simply to apply the building thermal partition, and limits to a small area within the large area,the scope of Yunlong County is roughly planed for moderate climate zones,However, in practical situations.The county has a distinctive natural environment of mountains and three-dimensional climate characteristics.If the simple partition in accordance with building thermal design, and then ignore the intervention of local climate, depends only on construction equipment and other proactive strategies adjust comfort inside the building, so as to enhance building energy consumption, which is invisible to increase the carrying capacity of the environment.This affects the impact on the natural environment is sometimes irreversible.In the increasingly serious environmental and energy issues today, the rural energy conservation is an important part of the path of sustainable development.Adaptation to climate adaptation with regional building energy saving features, is one of the problems when the next face of increasingly serious environmental problems we face an urgent need.By analyzing the site selection, master planning, interior layout and space organization of the traditional village in Yunlong area, the essay summarizes the passive energy saving strategies used in the architecture design generated from a long time adaptation to climate.
