Therefore, analyzed the influence of the climate environment on settlement and human,has become one of the first task.Taking the traditional settlements in south of Shaan Xi province as the breakthrough point,to make research on the relationship between mountain settlement of environmental elements and microclimate build.Through to the investigation and analysis of different characteristics of local-style dwelling houses in south of Shaan Xi province, explore how people in traditional climate wisdom clever use of mountain,forest land, water, building and tie-in combination, to obtain the optimal conditions of sunshine, natural ventilation, comfortable temperature and humidity and reduce energy consumption, to create a comfortable microclimate environment. Summarized different settlement environmental factors, and the strategy and mode of microclimate between every elements, thus to the heritage of traditional settlements in innovation,contemporary mountain building new houses have a positive significance.Dissertation first embarks from the climate, analysing the climate characteristics of and climate regulation, to specific local-style dwelling houses building passive design and analysis of characteristics of mountain settlements space form of climate. Then according to the influence of the microclimate range and geographical characteristics of settlements in south of Shaan Xi, the mountain settlement according to the characters of outer space in south of Shaan Xi is divided into valleys, anchor and slope type. And analysis of the evolution law of settlements in south of Shaan Xi.As a result of specific historical geographical environment and the influence of the cultural heritage, the mountain settlement in the evolution and development, and according to the law of development to predict the future development trend of traditional residence in mountainous region in south of Shaan Xi.Second in the research of typical settlements in south of Shaan Xi, through field tests and the form of questionnaire survey, to find the mountain settlement environment of different climate types in the climate adaptability problems, and through the data and images reflects the settlement on the location and spatial distribution of settlements in deficiency. These deficiencies are often due to severe such as military, culture, or business factors determine the location of the settlement is not ideal, which need to be in settlements planning layout and the structure of the monomer building to compensate and improve.Then,starting from the perspective of the mountain settlements associated with environmental elements, and analyzed the influence of the mountain of settlement of sunshine, woodland effect on settlement of natural wind and water on the settlement the effect on the temperature and humidification.
