Power grid is becoming more and more important in the chain of energy consumption because of the rising pressure of energy and environment. The demand of green energy spurs the development of smart grid while the reverse distribution of energy storage and consumption promote the interconnection of power grid. The secondary system of power grid become more and more huge and important. The secondary system is the brain and nevou of power grid. It is not only the controller of the power grid, but also the safe guard of grids, equipments and power workers. However, the rising scale of secondary system brings a huge problem to the workers: how to improve the efficiency of maintenance work. This thesis foucus on this problem, presents a model of the intelligent overhaul system for secondary system. The presented model utilize faults database and knowledge database as the basic resource and takes the fault diagnosis and decision making program as kernel to provides the fuction of fault query, fault diagnosis, intelligent decision making. This paper utilize SQL Server, Matlab and Visio Studio to make a tentative work for the presented model. The results show that the proposed model is feasible and efficient.
