In recent years, with the increasing advances in science and technology, the power industry is also developing rapidly, high-voltage and high-capacity transmission is the development direction of the power system, thus ensuring power delivery stability is more important. If the transmission line have failure, causing widespread power outages, the state and the people will cause incalculable damage. To prevent accidents, the state of the real-time monitoring of power equipment, to keep abreast of the condition of the equipment is very necessary. Now online monitoring technology is developing rapidly, In the meanwhile, he power supply requirements are also increasingly higher. The problem of power supply to the on-line monitoring equipment is an important factor in the development of on-line monitoring equipment and technology.This paper is based on the status quo in the power-line monitoring equipment at home and abroad. According to the difficulty for outdoor power equipment on-line monitoring of overhead lines. A method which obtains energy with high-voltage capacitor in series with PT and uses lithium batteries as backup is proposed. TFinally by subsequent rectifier, filter and the switching power supply circuit output to the monitoring system. Because the way to take power, such as capacitive voltage divider has the problem of limited energy, the set of device uses voltage transformer to increase power output, and on the basis of the changing of the load side power, through the relay’s on or off to control the connection or disconnection of the front-end resistance, then provide enough power to the load side. Through experiments and field verification simulator, observed the health of the device in a variety of extreme conditions to verify the feasibility of the device.This paper presents the use of high-voltage capacitor in series with PT and power supply lithium collaborative approach, and it is the basic solution for the energy problem. The circuit is light weight, small size, low cost, ease of installation, stability, and the experiment proved to meet the output voltage and power requirements for the development of on-line monitoring technology which has laid a good foundation.
