Based on the construction and transformation of urban distribution network in West Inner Mongolia Power Grid requirements, status quo power structure and regional research Wuhai area distribution network, and for the Wuda District of Wuhai City and Riverfront area with automated status quo power, developed a reasonable distribution network Automation of rehabilitation programs. In this paper, carried out on the Uda District of Wuhai City and Riverfront District transform regional 10 kV distribution network lines, substations and load condition and other aspects to carry out data collection and analysis, pointed out the load factor and failure problems in the region, pointing out that the 10 kV several wiring distribution network; and the transformation of the region presented a detailed plan construction and renovation goals, including the overall goal of building area, a grid and equipment automation of the goal, the main station building, construction and distribution terminal with network communication system the development goals.According to the transformation of the basis and principles of construction and equipment of a grid, mainly studied Wuda District of Wuhai City and riparian areas, rehabilitation programs once in two regional grid and equipment renovation design work, will use a single contact wiring lines in the region transformation of bilateral power cable wiring single ring(hand in hand ring), and configure the DTU distribution terminal to achieve three remote functions for RMU, in some branch line designed and installed a switch.According to the basic principles of the main distribution network automation, conducted a study of the distribution main station building hardware and software, draw a detailed study of the main station building hardware and software systems and feeder automation solutions rehabilitation programs; again with network communication systems and communication network to carry out research work to design a viable communication solutions, and communications cable laying path planning.
