Due to many advantages, such as,the large power to weight ratio, fast response speed, good control performance, overload protection, etc, hydraulic system are widely used in aerospace, automotive, shipbuilding, construction machinery, defense and other areas. Hydraulic system accessories have hydraulic load of serious hydraulic impact when the hydraulic valve switch and the pump start and stop. The pressure be will greater than a several times the system operation pressure. In order to test its safety and stability when operating at high pressure and the ultra-high pressure, the establishment of high pressure impulse test rig is very important. Before the products put into production, the pressure impulse testing will determine that the fatigue strength of the products can meet the requirements and easy to find point and failure causes failure in advance to find a solution.Firstly, there is a original pressure impulse test rig in the factory, and studying its composition and principle in accordance with the technical requirements. Through in-depth understanding of the water hammer wave generating mechanism to determine the high-pressure hydraulic impulse test hydraulic system design meet the principles. Then, through careful study "Hydraulic Design Manual", this paper detailed designed and strength check of the hydraulic supercharger, in order to achieve the required pressure to the system, and calculated and selected the other major elements of the hydraulic impulse test rig. Next, this paper detailed described the method of characteristics and the use of this method of storage, proportional servo valve, solenoid valve, hydraulic booster and piping in mathematical modeling to analysis dynamic characteristics of systems. Finally, the system simulation was conducted by AMESim to verify the accuracy and stability of the system. And by changing the parameter of varying factors, such as, proportional servo valve port opening, the oil kinematic viscosity, bulk modulus, accumulator and pipe length, the results of simulation could reflect the influence of water hammer wave in order to achieve the purpose of optimizing and perfecting the system.Research and analysis results showed that the system design has feasibility and high simulation accuracy. And it can meet expectations. Late to set up experimental prototype will be provided the vital significance and solid theoretical basis.
