| Along with economic development, technological progress and people’s ever-increasing material and spiritual needs, "people-oriented" has become the theme of today’s architectural design. Meanwhile, today’s lack of research on the relationship between street composite interface and human behaviors has caused a negative impact on the promotion of the street’s overall quality. This article will introduce "composite interface" which is provided with a double characteristics of interface and space to the exsiting buildings transformed art districts, and specifically study and scientifically evaluate the characteristics of target street’s spaces and behaviors in the transformed art districts, aimed to explore the current problems with the streets in our transformed art districts and also propose some feasible opinions and suggestionsOn the basis of a clear definition of related concepts on the composite interface of street space, this article, by means of analying the behavior properties and behavior types along the streets and the effects of street composite interface on the behaviors along the streets, distinguishes three types of composite interface:path-class composite interface, street-class composite interface and region-class composite interface. The spatial types of a number of selected streets in the Shanghai Moganshan Art District, which is used as the study object, will be classified; at the same time, based on the two levels of effects (form and function) of street composite interface on behaviors along the streets, the evaluation factors listed by Gail Young on the evaluation criteria about the public space environment and the field observations, the evaluation factor set of street composite interface will be filtered and refined. Through the data collected in the form of a questionnaire survey conducted among visitors to this art district, the post occupancy evaluation on the transformation is investigated, and, taking the weighted value of each item confirmed by expert questionnaire into consideration,11 main items and 28 sub-items of evaluation items and evaluation results are generated and the main reasons for the variance of each factor evaluation will be unveiled. The priority ranking of each evaluation factor of the target street composite interface is made by taking the established concept of "satisfaction saturation" into consideration, and effective suggestions on the overall promotion quality of street composite interface are proposed from angles of form, function and steet space. |
