As the major equipment of cantilever construction, which is commonly used in superstructure construction of continuous beam bridges, hanging basket plays a key role in the entire continuous beam construction Taking the prestressed concrete continuous beam bridge under construction in Zhengzhou City as engineering background, the paper studies the human errors in the design and manufacturing processes of the hanging basket of main line bridge systematically. The main contents and conclusions are as follows:1. The information including types, loading characteristics and applicability of the current hanging basket, as well as the application present situation and the future development direction is summed up and summarized.2. The paper analyzes and investigates a variety of human errors in the design and manufacturing processes of the background project, and the main human errors include: the errors of calculation model, the design checking calculation and the geometric parameters, and a number of control measures of human errors has been proposed.3. Based on the finite element theory and the construction characteristics of the rhombic hanging basket of main line bridge, as well as the errors of calculation model and the geometric parameters, the finite element software MIDAS Civil is used to establish a finite element model, to analyze the force of hanging basket structure with human errors and calculate strength, stiffness and whole stability of every members of hanging basket of main line bridge in detail. Then, according to the calculation and analysis results, obtain the deficiencies of the original design of the hanging basket.4. Based on the theory of structural reliability, determine the performance function of the main force member of hanging basket and the probabilistic model of loads and resistance, use the JC Method to analyze reliability of hanging basket structure with human errors, calculate the reliability of hanging basket, and find the requirements for reliability of bottom stringer under the web of the hanging basket and post-installed boom of the bottom formwork which do not meet the specification.5. The countermeasures for the deficiencies of hanging basket has been raised. and the structure checking and reliability analysis of the improved hanging basket has been conducted to show that the improved hanging basket structure meets the regulatory requirements.
