| Along with people living standard enhancement,energy demand and complexity of energy management are growing.At the same time,the urban expansion is scattering the residential district.The traditional manual meter reading is no longer applicable.The long-distance meter reading system come with the tide.In recent years,electronic and computer technologies and communication's high-speeded development has impulsed the exteriorly development of long-distance meter reading technology.Meter reading technology has went through from handwork to wire medias and then wireless medias,each method of them has its limitation in varying degrees.The uneven development in China make it imposible to adopt a single way to read meters.How to read the meters depend on the situations. This paper synthetically analyzed and compared some general communication mode of Automatic Meter Reading and abtained some schemes according to the user conditions. 1,For the big client such as a factory, a onefold mode of Automatic Meter Reading which one GPRS modular corresponded to one meter could be used. 2,For the individual client such as a building, a compound mode of Automatic Meter Reading could be used, which electric meters of each tenement collected by RS485 were transferred to the concentrator of this building and than uniformly transmitted to the control center by GPRS modular of the concentrator. 3,For the non-dispersive client such as a subdistrict, a triplex mode of Automatic Meter Reading could be used, which electric meters of each tenement collected by RS485 were transferred to the collector of the building, then transmitted to concentrator of this subdistict by power grid, and then transmitted to the control center by GPRS modular.Finally, this paper designed a GPRS-based meter reading terminal aimed at the first scheme which achieved functions of meter reading, communication to the control center and adjustment. |
