In the market economy today,billboards are erected on the top of high-rise buildings outdoor everywhere, the main framework system of these billboards are generally composed by steel profiles. The steel billboard at the top of high-rise building are complicatedly effected by external factors, and checking their structural safety are also relatively difficult. Currently,most supports attached to the lower buildings of the steel billboards are generally handled to be a rigid in order to avoid collapse by fabrication and installation of billboard manufacturers.When placed at the top of the twin-towers, the steel billboard is part of steel connecting-body structure of twin towers,the rigid connection easily causes the twin-towers pull each other in result of impairing under the earthquake.This paper based on the frame- shear wall structure as the background,uses the ETABS finite element software to system analysis the symmetrical twin-towers model and the asymmetrical twin-towers model.The main work is as follows:First of all,uses the ETABS finite element software to build:①single-towerb model,②single-tower model existing steel structure at the top,③symmetrical twin-towers model, ④symmetrical twin-towers model that the steel connecting-body structure located at the top that the support method is rigid-articulate connection,⑤symmetrical twin-towers model that the steel connecting-body structure located at the top that the support method is rigid-sliping connection,⑥asymmetricl twin-towers model,⑦asymmetricl twin-towers model that the steel connecting-body structure located at the top that the support method is rigid-articulate connection,⑧asymmetricl twin-towers model that the steel connecting-body structure located at the top that the support method is rigid-sliping connection.And uses modal response spectrum method and time history analysis method to numerical simulate the model for seismic actionNext,analysis the influence of the existence of the steel structure to the single-tower model, the symmetrical twin-towers model,and the asymmetricl twin-towers in thevibration period of structure,the story shear force of structure and the inter-story drift.In the end, the article made a simple summary to the research results,Hope that the conclusions can provide reference proposal as this type of such structure’s design in the future.
