Power engineering construction is an important part of the power system, the visualization management process of power engineering construction is more and more attented. Recently, with the raising requirements of grid operation and a variety of hardware and software technology, the increase in the amount of data collected grid in real-time, this trend may be accelerated. There are large contradiction increasingly prominent between standardized management requirements of the project site and lean vision of construction management because of currently restricted various resources and on the other hand the reality of workload is very large. How to solve this problem is an important issue in contemporary power engineering construction process. This article on this subject has been studied, and has put forward a visualization program on power engineering construction process. Starting from the grid information management data feature of large quantity, multi-source and multi-type, geographic features relevant and real-time, study the general requirements of power engineering construction management processes, and the essential feature of related procedural things and thought process of operators. Based on that to sum up several key factors of some of the management system appear to can not meet the needs of the actual operation:interactive software system is penurious, the scarcity of data forms, the data structure is not uniform, can not afford accurate position ing, can not accurate positioning, construction site is constrained and more.For these four key factors affecting the effective management of power engineering construction, this paper proposes few workaround base on three-dimensional geographic information system include the use of cloud technology, networking technology, augmented reality, image search and artificial intelligence and so on. And these types of methods were linked to form the conceptual system of a visual power engineering construction management system. Then, we proceed from the concept system to study various implementation issues of application software systems under the system, and aid a suite of software system reconstruction, the concept of the system and implement the system of mutual integration will form the output power engineering construction management application visualization technology solutions.On a provincial power engineering construction visualization management system of a power company bureau as an example, the author analysed the applications and solutions in the construction management process, and list the considerations in the implementation process, and outlooked the application prospects and operability programs. Finally, the further feasible direction development of visualization solutions for grid information management was put forward.
