The thought of the design methods of component programs is, complicated applying program is designed into several small component relative simple in function, which can communicate going beyond course, machine, language, and even operating platform between them. This paper has accomplished the exploitation design of power distribution network based on component. The system are mainly divided into 5 functions: the management of geography, landforms and the graph of power net; the management of power distribution network; the management of equipment; the management of information of clients; the integration with SCADA. With the issuing of window 2000, Windows DNA (Windows Distributed Internet Applications Architecture) has become the basis construction of the window platform. Windows DNA system is a kind of many-layers and distributed model of applying programs, and a distributed object technology resolution program. This paper has put forward and exploited resolution method of power distribution network GIS system based on windows DNA structure.
