To save energy and develop the national economy, energy saving research is very important in the power industry’s long-term mission. As an important part of the power industry, thermal power plant is rather necessary to carry out the high energy consumption equipment, in this way, we can study energy consumption and improve the efficiency of power generation in the thermal power plant.Pump and fan are the main auxiliary equipment, at the same time, they are the main energy consuming equipment in the thermal power plant. In this paper, the research work is providing energy saving space for the power plant through reforming the pump and fan. First of all, provide an overall energy-saving reform scheme design and select aiming at the present situation of the pump and fan to Dingzhou. Secondly, analysis the energy-saving scheme of the sending and induced draft fan and condensate pump. Finally, comparative analysis to energy consumption data before and after the transformation to the sending and induced draft fan and condensate pump, the analysis of results clear that the inverter system runs smoothly, frequency conversion is simple, economic benefit is remarkable, the frequency conversion is successful.
