| In recent years, with the rapid development of maritime transportation business, the ship types become diversiform. The number of ship is growing quickly,as well as the tonnage and the speed of the ship is improving. How to ensure the safety of vessel traffic became the world’s scholars research topic.The purpose of VTS is to protect the safety of the vessel in the supervision area. Although the statistics show that the ship traffic accident in the VTS area after the establishment of VTS is reduced, but it still occurs. One of the reasons is that the information assessment function of VTS, especially the traffic situation and Navigation hazard assessment function is not available. Therefore, the method which can predict the traffic situation and traffic risk, and which is researched, has important theoretical and engineering application for improving the effectiveness of VTS.The aim of this paper is to seek a more effective method for the assessment of navigation hazard in order to improve the quality of VTS in ship information service. The contents of this paper are as follows:The ship, hydrology, meteorology, geography and other information of the VTS system are analyzed and processed. And we use these information to judge and make forewarning for the collision danger of the ship in the supervision. Different warning models can be chosen in different navigable waters, and can be effectively forewarning. The research method of this paper is to establish the forewarning model in different waters, such as the wide waters and restricted waters. The ship scale, ship maneuverability, cargo type, speed, course, channel and water environment of around the ship are fully considered in the forewarning model of the wide waters. Due to limitations of the waterway, buoys and other ships, the ship scale, cargo type, speed, course, channel and water environment of around the ship are fully considered in the forewarning model of the restricted waters finally, the construction of the platform use the Visual Studio Microsoft 2010 and SQL Server Microsoft 2005 tools. Through the ECDIS display platform, the simulation experiments were carried out for the wide and restricted waters forewarning models. And the results show that the model is effective. |
