The Asset Integrity Management Methods Of Reciprocating Compressor

Reciprocating compressor is an important fluid machinery and power equipment in petrochemical industry. The asset integrity management of reciprocating compressor can improve efficiently reliability and safety of equipment. In addition, asset integrity management can decrease maintenance cost and optimize enterprise management cost.This paper analysis the fault modes and establish the asset integrity management system of reciprocating compressor based on system engineering methods and ideas. RAM has been widely applied in railway and aerospace industry. RAM is effectively used at reciprocating compressor management and life cycle cost of units is optimized by FMECA and RAM-LCC model in this paper. Thus, huge application potential of RAMS in petrochemical enterprises can help company optimize cost and save energy. Finally, this paper ensures the important area and objective of asset integrity management by building key performance indicator of reciprocating compressor. The maintenance strategy of units is formulated also according to KPI. In addition, KPI and management investment can get further optimization by calculating weight of KPI with entropy method.In fact, asset integrity management is important to maintenance and cost control of equipment in process industry.
