| In recent years, with the rapid growth of the national economy, and increasing social urbanization and rapid growth in the number of cars, the fast, efficient, intelligent transportation systems have become a powerful guarantee of social and economic sustainable development. However, it has become an issue of great concern to companies and individuals that the cars are stolen and car accidents occur frequently. In this case, the research of car recorder equipment attractes people’s attention. In order to develop a kind of terminal equipment which can meet the public demands, the research of vehicle terminal will become increasingly necessary.The purpose of this paper designs a satellite positioning system vehicle terminal hardware based on the STM32 family of ARM, then implements some functions such as vehicle terminal positioning,alarms,data storage and communication with the monitoring center and so on. This paper firstly introduces the basic structure of vehicle monitoring system and technology protocols applied to this system, and then analyzes the hardware system to determine the composition of the various parts of the hardware system: GSM module, compass module, display, camera, IC card and other basic components. This paper selectes STM32 family ARM which is produced STMicroelectronics as the main control chip, uses TD3020 C which is dual-mode navigation module as positioning module and SIM900 A as GPRS/GSM module. They constitute the core part of the vehicle terminal system together.Secondly, after selected the main chips in the system, this paper uses Altium designer09 to draw the PCB according to the PCB design rules and implements the hardware system and complets functionsal test of each module in the system. On the basis of completing functional testing of each module, this paper also introduces some software work, such as the hardware driver for hardware system, the boot operation of the ARM, the initialization of the entire hardware system and so on. Finally, this paper completes the joint test of the whole hardware system, which could ensure any module work normally and correctly. The final results show that the whole hardware system of the vehicle terminal can work normally and stably. |
