Electrochemical workstation is short for Electrochemical measurement system. Naturally it is used to control and monitor the change of electrochemical parameters, such as current, voltage and so on. It is always used in electrochemical research and teaching. The electrochemical workstation in this thesis can provide 23 kinds of electrochemical tests. It needs to complete control, test, transmission and storage. The highest sampling rate can be up to 100 MHZ, but the highest sampling rate of Electrochemical workstation is only 10 MHZ nowadays. Due to the design requirements, the system will produce a large amount of test data when electrochemical tests. So Transmission will require larger bandwidth and storage will need more disk resources. These problems will affect the system’s transmission rate and quality, and it may lead to the system’s hardware limitation. Therefore, the thesis will do some research on the way to improve the efficiency of electrochemical workstation test data transmission and storage, design and implement the system and key module.SC32440A is the main control chip in the transmission platform. CS8900 A is the network transmission chip, but it can only provide lower than 10 Mbps Ethernet transmission rate. This system designs for 100 MHZ sampling rate, and the data storage of hard disk resources are limited, so mismatch of the system transmission rate causes the bottleneck of transmission and storage. Analysis the features of Electrochemical workstation’s test data, it may have a large amount. Testing time may be long. These data may be more regular or have a strict periodicity. Accordingly, this thesis will take advantage of the data compression transmission and compression storage strategy to improve the efficiency of data transmission and storage. Based on the characteristics of data, this paper will respectively do some research from two aspects: data and signal. Research and compare the algorithm of traditional data compression and resample. Design and implement platform for the transfer in ARM9. Construct the developing environment of Linux + Qt4 and MFC + Oracle10 g platform. At last this thesis puts forward to combine the traditional data compression and resample technology, and it can further improve the efficiency of data transmission and storage.Firstly, Research and compare the commonly used traditional data compression algorithm. Then using the LZW compression algorithm processes the redundant data. It can improve the data compression transmission and storage about 50%. Secondly, in view of the traditional data compression and it cannot completely solve about 10 times bottleneck, therefore this thesis will research the way to sampling signal processing. In the case of a sampling and multiple periodic equivalent sampling signal, it will complete resample compression transmission, or combined with traditional data compression. Then according to the above research, design and implement an embedded control platform based on S3C2440 A, including the design of embedded system,transmission link, Linux driver and system transplantation. Finally, Study the compression of database technology, index technology, backup technology and partition technology, this thesis designs and realizes the compression of data storage from the structure to improve the efficiency of data storage and retrieval efficiency again.At last, the author tests the efficient data transmission and storage system of electrochemical workstation. Transmission and storage capacity can increase 2 to 20 times. So this system can realize high efficient transmission, high efficient storage and satisfy the packet loss rate within the scope of permission.
