Design And Implementation Of A Test System For Sichuan Grid Video Surveillance System

As an important part of smart grid, grid video surveillance system plays a major role in construction, production, running, operating and management of power grid. In recent years, with the expanding of the scale of grid video surveillance system, more and more devices are used, however, there’re some obstacles in communications among devices from different companies because of different function, compatibility and standard. In order to make grid video surveillance system standard, unitary and centralized, the stipulating and testing of them must be imperative.After the investigating and analyzing of Sichuan grid video surveillance system’s schema, components and functions, the standard of grid video surveillance system applied to Sichuan is drafted and completed, according to the standard of grid video surveillance system and interface. On the basis of this, the intergral and functions of a test system are formed.In the next chapter, the componts of the system are analyzed, designed and realized in detail, including A interface platform simulator, city platform simulator, auxiliary platform simulator and video processing unit simulator. The main technologies involve the realizations of communication function, SIP and HTTP protocol stacks, the video data’s packaging, transmission, decoding, checking and saving based on RTP transmission protocol and H264 video coding standard, the encrypting of MD5.Then, to make the test system’s functions more improved, automatic test, abnormal test and pressure test are proposed. Researching on these three methods, summarize test sources and make them realized.Finaly, in the laboratory and transformer substations, the test system is tested with grid video surveillance systems from many companies, and the test results are explained. It is showed from the experiments that this test system has a practical application value with its stability, reliability, accuracy and availability.
