It has been universal acknowledged that the aerospace industry is one of the most critical and challenging industry in high-tech field. China has achieved great improvement in aerospace industry in the past dacades. However, it should be noted that engineers must pay great attention to the quality and reliability management during the development and design of spacecraft, as it is always developed with extreme complexity, great investment, high risk and has significant influence. To take scientific and efficient methods to find and preventively eliminate the possible factors/risks that would lead to potential failure of spacecraft would result in a high quality/reliability of the aerospace product, so as to guarantee a high cost-efficiency.Looking back on the history of quality and reliability engineering in the aerospace industry, it has been proved that the reliability of an aerospace product is the major factor that decided wether the project would successs or not.Our paper focuses on the reliability management system of aerospace product and the development of reliability analysis software. To begin with, this paper introduced the basic process and reliability management system as well as the major reliability analysis methods, including fault tree analysis(FTA) and failure mode, effect and criticality analysis(FMECA) which are the most important methods in the reliability management system. An example is given to illustrate the implementation of FTA and FMECA. A reliability analysis software based on the reliability management system is developed in this paper. The structure and realization of the software are detailed.
