Research And Implementation Of Video Access Control Systems Based On IMS

Access Control System is a modern safety management system, and widely used in field of security. Traditional access control system generally achieves to the function of control the entrance channel only by RF card recognition technology, but with the promotion of application, access control system gradually becomes visualization and networking, which can further achieve intelligent home platform integrating intercom,home security, appliance control, and multimedia entertainment in one. Currently there is a bottleneck on the development: the products developed by each video access control manufacturer are relatively independent and closely, lack of capacity in expansion of application, and can’t satisfy users’ demands.As a network support of video services, IMS(IP Multimedia Subsystem) is a new multimedia service platform. It supports a variety of access methods, and can provide audio / video communications, video ads, directional information promotion, streaming media player Internet browsing, and other services for users. It can meet users’ colorful demands on communications, information and entertainment. Telecom operators have widely deployed it.In order to solve the bottleneck problem of video access, and simultaneously achieve integration of telecommunications services and industry applications, China Telecom has proposed construction ideas and requirements of video access platform based on IMS, but it lacks of specific embodiments and practical application cases.Therefore, on the basis of this thought, this paper combines with the principle of IMS network, and proposes design and implementation prototype of video access control solution based on IMS, including numbering rules, network scheme, business function achievement scheme, equipment requirements, business acceptance requirements,application scenario reference, etc., so as to form the basic application mode of access control business based on IMS, it also introduces each function module in detail,completes the resource planning and data configuration on the basis of the analysis on the existing key technology, solves the call rights management and other main technical problems, finally this paper carries out web application deployment for the solution, and specifically it builds an intelligence community with developers in a housing estate. Thehousing estate forms Telecom network infrastructure based on the optical fiber broadband networks, load supporting the video door business through IMS network,provides intelligent visual intercom function, provides carriers for basic applications such as monitor control, visual speaker-phone and so on, which effectively saves the costs of construction, investment, and labor, and improve the level of property management.In conclusion, this paper completes research of multimedia communication business application based on IMS through theoretical study and field practice, provides guidance for design, implementation, and business engagement of video access control based on IMS, provides examples for IMS to drive the combination of network applications, and opens up a new space for the combined operation of Telecom in future.
