Pipe network is widely used in the petrochemical industry and chemistry as the conveying equipment for fluid substances. Because its arrangement has great influence on the safety of long-period operation and shortage of relative vibration check, many accidents occur during the operation for the performance degradation caused by the vibration generated by the gas pulsation, low dynamic balancing quality and improper design. However, accidents will cause further damage, including:the fatigue failure in structure and pipe accessory; the breakage of heat insulation material; the early failure of valve block; the distortion of measuring device and the malfunction of control system and health risky noise. Intense vibration will make the connection part between accessories loosen and break, and its damage range from leakage to explosion. Some site of accidents caused by pipe vibration is shocking, and thus the study of the pipe network is necessary. This work focused on the design method and process. The vibration design was involved in the design as a support. Additionally, this work introduced some concepts in the mechanics of vibration and described the damage caused by the pipe vibration which makes reader get a better understanding of the vibration design and some useful measure for vibration-absorbing. Based on the API618, the design method and standard of vibration-absorbing was given as a reference for designers; the modeling analysis, harmonic response analysis and acoustic analysis based on the finite element software-ANSYS reached relative conclusion and then the verdict was deprived from the modeling analysis, which would provide meaningful suggestion for the further pipe network design and improvement.
