With good road performance, asphalt pavement is appreciated and applied to most of our roads at present. However, it has exposed many weaknesses along with the large-scale application. With the development of warm mix asphalt technology, we are gradually perfecting asphalt pavement.Engineering experience has shown that there are still deficiencies in now widely used warm mix technology and products. So, we study on the new high-performance low-temperature additive(PR LT) produced by PRI, aiming at the effects that it acts on asphalt pavement performance and providing a theoretical reference for its application.First, SGC, taking volume indicators as control index, determined PR LT warm mix asphalt mix and PR LT warm mix asphalt mixture SBS mixing and compaction temperatures, and compared with Sasobit, Aspha-Min, and HH-XⅡ type cooling effect of warm mix agent, the results show that the cooling effect of PR LT is most obvious and reduced about 25 ℃; by indoor simulation paving and compaction process, we establish a temperature-time curves and conclude that PR LT can effectively extend the asphalt mixture compaction time after analyzing the effective compaction time of PR LT asphalt.Second, depending on the results that the dosage PR LT acts on SBS asphalt pavement, we determine the best dosage of the additives; comparing with other three warm mix agent road performance, PRLT is outstanding in low temperature stability and water stability, but inferior in high temperature stability; comparing with the effects of improving performance that PR LT for asphalt mix and modified asphalt pavement, the result goes that the two asphalt the water stability is basically same in increasing rate. The low temperature stability of SBS asphalt is better than asphalt mixture, While the high temperature stability of the two goes diametrically.Third, taking Hamburg wheel instrument loading system as a platform and testing by forming a reasonable size and the thickness of the specimen, we evaluated the temperature, water, load frequency, load, water- temperature coupling and the Coupling environmental acts on the resistance of asphalt mixture to wheel performance. The results showed that high temperature, water, load and load rate all make significant impacts on the occurrence and development of wheel tracking, and also water- temperature coupling and water-load coupling further exacerbate the occurrence and development of wheel tracking. While comparing the anti-rutting effect of PR LT, JL-PM01 A and PR PLASTS, the results is that PR LT can achieve same effects with the domestic anti-rutting agent JL-PM01 A.Finally, drawing lessons from experience in engineering, we summarize the key technology of warm construction of PR LT, as well as make comprehensive analysis of the social and economic benefits of PR LT warm mix asphalt construction convenience and energy conservation.
