Research On Constructability In Design Phase Under Design-build Mode

The traditional DBB model from the organizational level leads to the separation of design and construction, which makes the experience and knowledge of construction cannot be effectively applied to the design and will result in a series of constructability problems. The first and foremost condition to solve this problem is to integrate the organization model of design and construction and to implement the integration of design and construction management. The DB model has the feature of integrating design and construction, which can offer possibilities and convenience for the experienced construction personnel to participate in the project design, and also offer mechanism protection for constructability research. Therefore, the constructability research is carried out under the DB model will be more operable and practical.From the perspective of the DB general contractor, this paper mainly does an in-depth research about the constructability problems in the design phase of the construction project under DB mode.1) It gives the definition and classification of constructability, deeply analyzes the specific reasons for the constructability problems, and then discusses the value and importance of the constructability research.2) It summarizes the design overview of the DB mode, analyzes the advantages and characteristics of the design constructability research under DB mode, does a detailed research which focuses on the DB mode of the preliminary design and construction drawing design, and concludes the main influence factor which affects the constructability of the preliminary design and construction drawing design.3) In view of the design constructability factors under the DB model, this article puts forward four specific measures to improve the constructability of the design of DB project and how to implement these measures are analyzed and explained in detail.4) Under DB mode, this article constructs the preliminary design scheme and construction drawing design scheme of different constructability evaluation index system, and establishes a new design constructability evaluation model by combining fuzzy matter-element method with combined weights thought. Additionally, through engineering example application, it reflects the feasibility and applicability of this evaluation model.Through the above research, it can provide a reference for improving the constructability of project design or creating new design schemes. Also, it facilitates the DB general contractor to quantitatively evaluate and optimize its different design schemes. This article not only enriches the research content of the constructability under DB mode, but also lays a solid foundation for further improving the DB general contracting system and promoting the development and application of the DB contracting mode in our country.
