Wheel loader is an important and efficient construction machines widely used in infrastructure field because of its high efficiency. In recent years, under the initiative of energy-saving concepts, Hybrid technology could be the main way to solve the high energy consumption and poor emission. Electric torque convertor hybrid wheel loader is a kind of electric hybrid system. Traditional hydraulic torque converter can be replaced by coupling power torque scheme which can increases torque and decreases velocity meeting the power requirement in actual conditions.The research includes the means of energy-saving, the energy-saving potential of electric torque convertor hybrid wheel loader, power system parameter matching, control strategies, virtual prototyping simulation and so on. main works are as follows:(1) Aiming at construction features and power output motion of wheel loader duty cycle, there are two root reasons of high energy consumption and poor emission of wheel loader, which are energy utilization of wheel loader is low, and transmission efficiency of torque converter is low. Based on the above reasons 7 means to save energy mentioned has heed proposed in this thesis.(2) Electric torque convertor hybrid wheel loader can realize 6 work modes, The most distinctive and energy recovery potential operating modes are electric torque convert mode and Regenerative braking mode. So theirs energy recovery potential and energy-saving theory analyzed in this thesis.(3) The aim of the parameters matching is that the hybrid system can achieve or even more than the traditional wheel loader. The common method for engine, motor, Supercapacitor of hybrid system is implementing equalization on power flow of whole machine.The common method for the planetary mechanism is the relationship of the three mechanism torque and speed.(4) In terms of the structure and function of electric torque convertor hybrid wheel loader, its control strategy can be divided into three sections to expound in This article.First, according to the working condition of loader’s load divided into 6 kinds of working modes; Then making a detailed control method of electrical torque mode; Finally made the super capacitor charge balance strategy.(5) Traditional and hybrid virtual prototype models are build up Based on the computer simulation platform-AMESim. The traditional virtual prototype models attain to higher simulation accuracy by narrow the gap between experimental values and simulation.Electrical torque hybrid wheel loader models is build up based on traditional simulation model of wheel loader, which has heed modified the power system of traditional simulation model of loader. Finally the simulation results were analyzed in detail.
