In today’s society, all economic activities relying on the production of human life situations, are closely related to the application of electric power, as a connection and transmission part, wire and cable is used to electricity’s transmission and application. Power cable is a kind of cable that used in the power system widely, the research and application of it in the safe operation of the entire power system and the future development play a decisive role.Design and application of the power cable in the construction of electrical reasonably as the research subject, the research have the following several aspects:1.The basic knowledge of common cable of power system. Four kinds of wire in electrical system as the object of study, various types of wire in different power system hub, high voltage long distance transmission line, the city power supply system, construction of the main power supply and distribution system end users of applications made a specific analysis of specific guidance, for all kinds of wires’ application in practical engineering.2.The application of the systems of power cable in the actual project, this is the main part of this paper. First, according to the fire performance, researching and analysing cable is assorted, to provide detailed guidance of reasonable selection of cable for design personnel; second, cable fire prevention measures. To achieve the purpose of fire prevention by means of fireproof cable and reasonable distribution lines of fire means, this is a series of effective methods, to ensure the safe operation of the system; third, a reasonable choice of power cable laying mode, to avoid the improper selection of laying way cause the system not working properly; fourth, by selecting the appropriate wire material, reasonable classification of load and wiring way to achieve such cable.3.Analysis of cases of selection and application of power cable in the actual project: This is the part of theory verification. The practical application in the application of the third chapter of power cable technology research under the premise, according to a commercial residential load classification select a reasonable distribution mode, and according to the data calculation load statistics, select the appropriate cable type, section, fire prevention measures and laying mode, verify the power cable technology research and Application the method is correct and feasible.The purpose of this study is to reasonably choose the power cable to ensure the safe operation of the building power distribution system. Cable is widely used in buildings, so that its security, fire safety has been paid more and more attention, the rational use of the cable can effectively guarantee the safety of people’s life and property.
