A Case Study On The Architecture Structure Aesthetics Of Shanghai Metro Stations’ Exterior And Interior Convergence Space

When the world steps in to the 21 century, issues on human’s living environment have been highlighted. Energy saving and low carbon consumption have become the focus issues of every country and every field. While in China, with the development of urban construction, the population in urban area is increasing consistently. With the shortage of resources, growing pollution on environment and commuting difficulties for its citizens, “Civil Project” becomes the core issue of 18 th party congress report. With its unique advantages, metro transportation in cities has become the main transportation tools in solving urban resources, environment and commuting problems. And it is also the first choice in improving existing transportation condition for “Civil Project”. It has positive impact on promoting green development, cyclic development, low carbon development and constructing beautiful cities. Urban metro transportation will not only fulfill its transporting function, but als should consider the exterior and interior convergence of each station to improve the function of its convergence and the beauty of the architecture in order to satisfy the functional and Aesthetic purposes from citizens.This paper starts with the existing condition of Shanghai’s metro terminal stations; tries to put forward the structural concept of exterior and interior convergence, limit its boundary and aim at improving the spatial quality and Architectural aesthetic. The paper investigates on the architectural structure aesthetics of the exterior and interior convergence Space, using structural aesthetics to analysis the exterior and interior convergence space of Shanghai metro transportation station in factors of consideration, composition and affection. It will carry a discussion on the quality and aesthetics of spatial architecture, including the formation of exterior and interior, exit design, interface design, light design and guidance signal design to summarize the structural aesthetics strategy of the exterior and interior convergence space and analysis with relevant cases.This paper lays emphasis on the study of the generalization and summarization of components and techniques in the exterior and interior convergence space quality and structural aesthetics of Shanghai metro transportation station, then forecasts the future trend of the station, with a sincere hope to provide helps with the paper’s investigation to the construction of this architectures in the future.
