| With the rapid development of C hina’s economy, the accelerated pace of urbanization, urban-scale expansion and modernization of the extent of the continuous improvement of critical infrastructure as the city water supply network has become increasingly dense and complex. From the perspective of sustainable urban development considerations, using the traditional manual management has been unable to meet the actual needs, we must establish a set of input data of urban water supply networks and related facilities, editing, analysis, output and management in one of the water supply network and facilities management systems, which completely changed the traditional water supply network and facilities management.In this paper, based on strengthening the information management of the water supply network, the establishment of a water supply pipe network management information system. The system will make use of GIS technology, computer technology, network technology, database technology, the entire city water supply network and facilities acquisition and storage in digital form, its query statistics, edit, export, update management, urban construction and provide accurate information on the development of infrastr ucture facilities.This paper describes the water supply pipe network management information system includes three aspects:1.the establishment of urban water supply networks and associated facilities and infrastructure database terrain database. Including basic geographic information data, network data, public geographic data, which include spatial and non-spatial data, in order to ensure data security and data sharing network environment, the use of relational database management unified spatial and non-spatial data.2. Overall system design. Including the system used by the operating system, database platform, GIS software platform and development language; system architecture, network architecture design institutes and system security. Architecture using C / S + B / S model to build, in the C / S mode of operation is to achieve terrain, pipelines and facilities, equipment, data management, in the B / S operating mode pipe networks and facilities information dissemination, including a map control, data query, statistical analysis and other functional modules.3. Realization of system function modules. The system needs analysis and overall design, the entire system into the pipe network and automatically update data batch subsystem, network supervision and storage subsystems, supervision and management subsystem terrain and underground pipe network integrated management subsystem.The system has been rigorously tested by several water companies use to achieve the water supply network digital management, dyna mic management of underground pipe network data to meet the city’s demand for water supply management and network management to improve the efficiency and management level, among the various departments to achieve the scientific organization of information sharing and collaboration. |
