In the process of accomplishing construction refinement, construction resources management becomes an important part to realize the refinement of management and control. The traditional resources management mainly depends on manual control and2 D data transfer, communication and management. which lead to the problems like resource plan is not accurate, the waste of resources procurement and the lack of limit resources control for unclear drawing understanding, schedule adjustment. With the advent and development of BIM in recent years, the BIM application in construction stage is deepening, effectively improves the management efficiency on the project schedule, cost and quality in many aspects. Therefore, it has important exploration value to achieve fine resource management visa the application of BIM in the construction stage.This paper elaborates the present construction resource management method,content and situation, proposes the feasible idea and scheme of dynamic management and optimization of construction resources with BIM(Building Information Modeling)technology. The paper creates an 5D information model based on 3D model,WBS as the core, additional schedule and cost information parameters founded on Grandsoft 5D platform, after the analysis of BIM technology and the relevant modeling software, the exploration of transfer standard and problem between software,the research of correlation principle among 3D model, schedule file and pricing document.To invest the construction resource management process based on BIM, the paper integrates a case’s information on the BIM5 D platform which contains 3D model,schedule files and pricing documents. The practical application shows that the construction resource management based on BIM can evaluate the usage and cost of people, material, machine from every process, thus it can realize dynamic query construction engineering quantity, resource dynamic management and optimization and cost tracking contrast etc. The results are helpful for managers to extract the material consumption rapidly, which improve the efficiency of engineering measurement, arrange the various resources approach work reasonable according to the amount of materials distribution in advance, avoid risk due to the problem ofinsufficient resources supply or conflict beforehand, and assure the resources supply by dynamic simulation and optimization, which has the remarkable effect on the refinement of construction resources control and management.
