The Study On Reconstruction Of Waterfront City Portal In The Evolution Of City Function

Under the time background of fast urbanization in our country, many cities have changed a lot in city external volume and internal function. But in the meanwhile, there is a lag in their city space and public supporting facilities. During the evolution of city function, conflicts appeared between public space and city function, the function of city space tends to be compound in functional structure, maladjustment between the main functions of original urban and city development was generated, city public supporting facilities presented many incoordination phenomena.The research target of this paper is the issue of adaptation between waterfront gate space and city function during the evolution of city function. The design of China waterfront city portal space and the present condition of construction were researched by review and collation of the literature about city function, city landscape architecture, city design and meanwhile by the on-the-spot investigation, design factors of waterfront city space were summarized, on the basis of factors analysis, design principles of city waterfront space restructure were summarized. Then by investigating city portal region of Chishui city in Guizhou province, carding temporal variation and spatial distribution of waterfront gate city function in Chishui during fast urbanization, the adaptation of Chishui waterfront gate public space and function was analyzed, then on this basis, restructure design strategy for functional requirements of Chishui waterfront gate space was proposed, and design strategy was applied to guide waterfront gate spatial design in Chishui city.This paper mainly includes six chapters:Chapter one, introduction: introduce textual research background, objective, significance, object, content and method.Chapter two, analyze research status of city waterfront gate space, propose design objective: take practical case for example, excavate the significance of city portalway image in city development and construction, then make extension analysis, accordingly propose requirements for designing waterfront city portal open space in our country.Chapter three, on the basis of chapter two, summarize relevant elements that affect city portal space development, obtain universal design rules of city waterfront gate space.Chapter four, analyze function development and distribution of Chishui city waterfront gate region from time and space respectively, and analyze adaptation about present condition of city function for waterfront gate in Chishui city.Chapter five, investigate the design method of waterfront gate space in the tourist city: it is the emphasis of this paper. The specific design for the waterfront gate space was carried out according to the design method and principle. Furthermore, the corresponding design strategy for the public space construction of the waterfront gate in Chishui city was proposed, and the aforementioned design method was verified based on it.Chapter six, conclusion: some perception and summary during writing this paper.
