In modern cities, there is large population in small area, municipal solid waste fail to be dealt with timely and effectively. In fact, municipal solid waste has cause a specific problem.Waste-to-Energy technology, means waste incineration and power generation, which is becoming more and more popular in nowadays, has the advantage of small site size, fully harmlessness, effectively volume reduction and high power utilization.At this stage, most domestic Waste-to-Energy plant equipped with Automatic Combustion Control system( ACC for short), which ensure stably combustion of waste, prevent against pollution, product proper stream power. However, in practical, there is lots of disturbance such as calorific value and weather can not be measured in real time. In consequence, only few domestic Waste-to-Energy plants achieve full-automatic, instead, the combustion control rely on operator’s experience. Since there is habit and experience difference between one operator and other, it’s difficult to achieve optimum combustion control.Research on Automatic Combustion Control system in domestic Waste-to-Energy has become one of the important topics of waste disposal industry, In order to guarantee the effect of waste disposal, reduce artificial intervention, improve the level of automation, improve Waste-to-Energy process.This article researches on main current Waste-to-Energy control system, analyzes their features both in structure and control technology. Researches Automatic Combustion Control system application effect with a example of reciprocating type grate in domestic practice,analyzes the reason why automation level is low, with the main operation figures.According to feature of local Waste‐to‐power plant: complicate content waste, necessity of human adjustment, Design improve modification in signal measurement: furnace flame automatic detect method based on video, using the specific camera collect the flame video,transmit to analyzing computer. Analyzing compute complete image processing, analyzing algorithm, signal transmit to control system, indicate in operator station. With its help,operators can adjust grate speed and combustion air flow refer to the flame analyze signal.flame automatic detector is a good way not only to improve level of automation, but alsoreduce the control efficiency difference comes from different operators.Other improve modification in signal measurement: air flow and air pressure instrument,low calorific value calculation in practical. Further more, the article describe the importance of standard operation regulation.At last, the article also researches the effect of the improve modifications in practice.This article researches the improve modification for Automatic Combustion Control system in domestic Waste-to-Energy, provides suggestion for improvement in practical application, improving the development of environment protect in domestic application.
