Research On The Construction Of The Neo-vernacular Architecture From The Tectonic View

The gap between different regions formed for a long time has been broken by the global integration, then the similarity of culture and information flow interaction among different areas, which has given rise to the spread of the modern cultural convergence with the elapse of traditional context. Rural China under this kind of phenomenon is gradually annexed by the urbanization, the integration for itself and digestive ability can no longer satisfy the double pressure of the industrial and economic development which the system changes and transformation bring about, so the traditional local texture and style have vanished by the construction of the same pattern. For resistance to globalization for architecture, the biggest redemption to native culture is the attention to traditional vernacular architecture construction, how to reshape new rural means of whether Chinese construction can acquire the dual identity of history and the present. In consequence this paper introduced the western tectonic theory, one is to explain the value of local culture, getting rid of the superficial pure imitation and extended in meaning; Second, in the globalization today, vernacular architecture that is associated with tectonics can be better to regain the local architecture in the contemporary "history legitimacy", but also is one of the Chinese construction strategies against of the increasingly expanding "globalization".Structure of this paper is based on the field of vision in tectonic theory, with the method of vertical and horizontal to the contrast and analysis, carrying on interpretation and thinking to the five aspects of the traditional vernacular architecture in the construction of philosophy, material technology, manufacturing technology, detail structure and constructing system, along with practical cases of the typical characteristics, and then puts forward the new rural construction strategy, while proceeding prospective exploration and development at the same time.Under the tectonic perspective of the neo-vernacular architecture construction research, in this article, author concluded that: from the inheritance of the traditional local culture can be roughly divided into two kinds of value orientation, one is based on the ontology context of tectonics, restoring to create and gleaning from the traditional vocabulary by the contemporary architecture values. The other is to integrally inherit and carry forward the philosophy and system of the construction which constituted behind the local culture, here, the architects tried to separate city’s influence on the local construction and restriction, thoroughly get rid of the industrial society under the globalization that owns the existing ideological concept and value, thus form the appropriate evaluation standard system of the independent thinking.
