What has finished include the following:Firstly, this article carried on the analysis of the engineering database structure thoroughly. Propose using three layers structure to solve large amount of engineering data in the database and reduce the numbers of operations that connected to the database server, thus can protect its stability and security. When logical business change, only have to change some components in the mid-tier server, it can improve the system maintenance.Secondly, building AC contactor product data management information model based on the feature modeling for the design system, so that can manage the information flexibly and effectively. Also put forward the system evaluation based on the design experience, methods and expert knowledge.Finally, this design system is based on SQL Server 2000 and Visual Studio 2008 as the development environment. In the system we have professional data management for design information and process parameters of the design. The system function has achieved such as query, update, data security, system management.
