The regional road network is an important channel which linked the urban stricken areas with the outside world, and the relief capability under earthquake disaster is determined by the seismic reliability. Therefore, it has important significance to analyse the road network connectivity and optimize the road network to rescue the affected areas according to the actual relief needs after the earthquake.In these thesis, regional network reliability was analyzed based on the knowledge of lifeline earthquake engineering, earthquake disaster mitigation engineering and graph theory. The road network was seen as plane network consisted of nodes and segments of railway. The overall seismic reliability of road network was analyzed from nodes to segments and then to the whole road network.In this thesis,the research area of the road network is determined by the influence reg ion of earthquake and the gradient attenuation of earthquake damage.According to the co mposition of the road, this road segment is divided into three parts: slope unit, bridge unit and tunnel unit. Also, demarcating the earthquake resistance reliability bases on the impact factor of each unit to introduce the series calculation model of this segment.In this thesis, node importance and criticality of road segment were proposed as two concepts. Influence factors and calculation model of node importance under earthquake disaster were introduced according to the needs of relief supplies in various towns in the region. And then Monte Carlo stochastic simulation method was used to calculate the inter-node network seismic reliability. And criticality of road segment and its calculation methods were proposed.In this thesis, the seismic optimization model of road network uses connectivity betw een nodes in the optimized zone and the outside reaching the lowest limit as the constraint. Then on the basis ofcalibration model cost and seismic reliability parameters, the model is solved through orthogonal enumeration method. In addition, exponential analysis is use d to elaborate the process of model realizing, which provides the foundation for seismic o ptimization of regional road network.
