To ensure the quality of fruits and vegetables in cold storage, the monitoring of air temperature and humidity, carbon dioxide concentration and ethylene concentration and other parameters in cold storage is very important. Wireless sensor network technology has set the node flexible acquisition, no wiring and other characteristics. Wireless sensor network technology can improve and supplement the existing wired and acquisition system. Environmental monitoring data for the key technologies of wireless sensor suitable for cold storage is studied deeply in the paper.Environmental information collection node whose master control chip is MSP430F148 is given based on wireless sensor network topology structure and the system requirements. Environmental information collection node can realize the environmental parameter acquisition and communicate with monitoring module through the wireless sensor network. As a result of the low-power design, environmental information collection node can achieve long-term work in the case of its own battery.Monitoring module whose master control chip is high-speed embedded processor STM32F103RET6 is given. The module can achieve networking with 255 nodes environmental information collection, data processing, data storage, data display and communicating with a remote server taking GPRS technology, and other functions. Monitoring module has network information preservation, memorying network presence automatically and booting self-recovery and other features.Environment information collection node networking rules and protocol which monitoring module communicates with collection node are developed and designed. Wireless sensor networks self-organizing capabilities and sampling data reliable communications is realized.Communication protocol which based on TCP data transmission through the GPRS network is given, and the function that monitoring module communicates with a remote server is realized.Under laboratory conditions, the function of each part of the system were tested. The test results shows that the data transmission of the system is safe and reliable and networking of the system is simple and convenient. The system can achieve real-time monitoring of storage, greatly reducing the human and material resources to improve the efficiency of storage management.
