| With the increasing of the world’ population and economy, the consumption of traditional energy is growing faster and faster, Therefore, the research and development of new energy sources is imminent. The mechanical vibration energy which can be found everywhere can be converted into electric energy by the piezoelectric material who has high energy density and a promising future. This paper will mainly discuss the piezoelectric Pavement and do some research on the preparation and performance of piezoelectric devices-embedded asphalt concrete.Firstly,the simulation will be done for PZT4 by using ANSYS12.0. Static analysis showed that the maximum voltage of the ring piezoelectric ceramics(diameter 20 inner diameter 8 thickness 5mm) is 90.1572 V in 0.7MP; Modal analysis obtain their modal and resonance frequency; Harmonic analysis show that the frequency from the actual road environment has no influence on the voltage; The transient analysis show that the voltage variation is consistent with the stress curve. The voltage is unaffected by the area of piezoelectric ceramic and proportional to the thickness.Secondly, the mechanical properties show that the fracture failure stress can be achieved 75.8MP which is much higher than standard axle load 0.7MP. Layer structure can effectively improve the internal equivalent capacitance. Sandwich layer device can effectively improve the conversion efficiency and its anti-fatigue properties.The epoxy bituminous can effectively protect the piezoelectric device as encapsulating layer.Thirdly,AC13 graded asphalt concrete which is designed by Marshall method has good road performance and compatibility with the piezoelectric device.Fourthly, the peak voltage increases with growing temperature and wheel load, meanwhile decreases with the developing buried depth. open-circuit voltage has nothing to do with the increasing parallel elements while the current will develop. LTC3588-1 chip has a better collection efficiency and integration. Super capacitor is more suitable than rechargeable batteries in storage, but neither of them has good storage efficiency. In the experiment LED will blink but shine weak.Fifthly, embedded piezoelectric asphalt concrete is most suitable for 1-4 asphalt concrete climate regions(hot in summer and winter temperature zone) and heavy traffic area. The piezoelectric device is most suitable embedded in the surface layer of asphalt concrete pavement by experimental results.This paper shows piezoelectric devices-embedded asphalt concrete pavement has good road performance, but its power is limited which can only reach the demands of some microelectronic devices and LED lights. |
