Design Of The Rudder Control Circuit Testing Equipment Based On Virtual Instrument Technology

A Rudder Control Circuit Testing Equipment is developed for the needs of a Chinese institute’s production, it is a special testing equipment used for measuring rudder control circuit of some type of aircraft. The test equipment, based on virtual instrument technology has the high testing efficiency and test accuracy.In this paper, the design and the developing process of A Rudder Control Circuit Testing Equipment is introduced in detail, from reality software and hardware architecture based on virtual instrument technology have been raised. Hardware units is made up of IPC(the test card included), power source, measuring instrument and conditioning circuit, IPC is used to complete the data collection and control the measuring instrument based on GPIB interface; Power source provides the environment for the product tested; measuring instrument is used to acquisition parameter of the product tested; Conditioning circuit provides the signal needed for the product tested. Testing software is realized on the software development platform, and divided into three modules according to the modular design concept, such as device self-checking module, function test module and the calibration module. device self-checking module is used to complete the hardware self-inspection of the test equipment; function test module is used to complete the three test functions, such as static resistance test, panel testing and subassembly test; calibration module is used to complete the calibration of the test equipment, and amend measured value; In the end the paper introduces the problems in the system debugging process and the solution.Currently, the test equipment has been using on the production line, the results proved the Rudder Control Circuit Testing Equipment fully meets the requirements of a Chinese institute, has higher automation level.
