Wind energy as a clean and renewable resource, many countries place emphasis on the development of the wind power industry. With the rapid growth in the number and the capacity of wind turbines, wind power has been a new industry. But wind turbines become prone to failure under alternating loads, high temperature, vary speed and other adverse conditions, especially the shaft, gearbox and other transmission components under alternating loads prone to malfunction, resulting in downtime and maintenance difficult, high maintenance costs, and cause seriously economic loss. Therefore, through the research and development on wind turbine transmission system monitoring and diagnosis, prevention and reduction of wind turbine failure can be achieved to ensure the stable operation of wind turbines, improve economic efficiency. The main work is described as follows:This paper proposed wind turbine transmission system networking monitoring and diagnosis strategies. Through the analysis of the main structure and failure mechanism, manifold learning fault diagnosis method were used for the nonlinear vibration signal and weak early fault features characteristics of the wind turbine caused by its complex structure, poor working conditions. According to the actual needs of wind turbine transmission system networking monitoring and diagnosis system, the system architecture, measuring points, front-end collection unit and system solutions were analyzed.In this paper the overall of the wind turbine drive train network monitoring and diagnosis system structure was designed based on B / S and C / S hybrid architecture, and analyze the interaction between the various modules. With a modular thinking, condition monitoring module, data acquisition module, database module, fault diagnosis module and remote access module were respectively designed.This paper developed a set of wind turbine network monitoring and diagnosis system independently. Through the data acquisition module, acquire data in real time for monitoring the state of the turbines, and use a fixed time interval or an alarm trigger to store the collected data to the specified IP database. Monitoring and Diagnostic module can either send data request to the data acquisition module, it can also access the specified IP database, analysis and fault diagnosis of the historical data. When technical support specialists needed, the diagnose experts can access information remotely and data of wind turbines via internet remote. After experimental verification and field test, the wind turbine transmission networking monitoring and fault diagnosis system can fulfill the needs of the wind turbines.
