Research On BIM-based Expression Of Monitoring Information Using IFC And Integration Method

With great information visualization and integration capabilit y, BIM(Building Informat ion Modeling) can be served as an integrative visualizat ion and management platform for monitoring informat ion, which can reduce difficult y o f informat ion understanding and management, and thu s improve the performance and efficiency o f monitoring system. So a BIM based expressio n of monitoring informat ion using IFC(Industry Foundat ion Classes) and integrat ion method is proposed.The IFC based expression and integration method of monitoring informat ion is studied. The monitoring info rmat ion model is established to determine data members and t ypes to be integrated. The IFC standard is expanded and the IFC based monitoring informat ion model is established. The IFC based monitoring informat ion expression is realized by establishing mapping between monitoring information and IFC data model. An IFC file read and write program is developed using C#,automat ic integration of monitoring data is realized by IFC file parsing, monitoring data extraction and IFC file generat ion. Finally, an experiment is carried out and the effect iveness of this method is verified.The Revit based monitoring informat ion visualizat ion method is studied. The BIM based modeling software Revit is chosen as the developing platform and C# as the programming language. The Revit based monitoring informat ion visualizat ion plug-in is developed and t he interact ion between monitoring informat ion and Revit sensor model is realized. F ive funct ion modules are developed, which are automatic monitoring, monitoring po int search, monitoring informat ion inquiry, file export and additional funct ion. Auto matic alarm, data visualizat ion, data analysis and real-t ime roaming are realized. This method is applied o n an experiment on monitoring informat ion visualizat ion o f a four layer steel frame and the effective ness of this method is verified.The database based integration management of monitoring informat ion is studied. The New Orleans method is used to design monitoring database based on SQL Server. The Revit API and C# are used to develop Revit based monitoring information management system, and automatic creat ion and data import of monitoring database is realized. The visual integrat ive management of monitoring informat ion and document is realized by using monitoring data management module, document management module and database background management module.The BIM based expressio n and integration method is applied on Zhuhai Opera House Little Shell, the Revit models of sensors are created and I FC parameters are set using IFC based expression method o f monitoring informat ion. The visualizat ion and management of monitoring informat ion in Revit are applied and automat ic alarm, data visualizat ion, data analys is and management are realized, which verifies usabilit y and pract icalit y o f this method.
