At present, the vehicle security problem is increasingly serious in the process of moving, and it has become the focus research for scholars both at home and abroad. Traffic accident has strongly sudden and irresistible, so the usual real-time vehicle monitoring system is difficult to respond effectively. Prediction system of vehicles driving state can provide forecast condition during driving. It can give reasonable driving reference information and drivers can be directly involved in the vehicle braking system in emergency time to enhance active safety and avoid traffic accidents.Based on vehicle driving condition,comprehensive analysis vehicles braking and rollover process and establish a active safety system of a whole of vehicles braking and rollover process based on the condition of vehicle. The main work is as follows:Distance prediction method for braking is established, and it doesn’t adopt traditional the shortest braking distance as a target. The on-board sensors acquire and handle the data of vehicle driving and braking condition to judge the current driving and establish vehicle braking history database. BP neural network forecasting model is adopted to predict current braking distance based on vehicle braking history database. Use vehicle braking reaction distance which is based on current driving tendency to modify prediction distance. The simulation model is established based on the history data of braking. It shows that the average relative error between predicted values and the vehicle braking distance historical data samples is 3.7%, and meets the requirement of system.Establish vehicle’s rollover warning method which uses the Time-to-rollover algorithm and rollover discrimination index of vehicle roll angle and its simplified transverse load transfer rate. Simulate the condition based on J-Turn and it shows that this method can be effectively warning the vehicle rollover.Build vehicle active safety system hardware platform and design relevant software algorithms. Hardware platform consists of vehicle data acquisition equipment, data processing equipment, state prediction device and the necessary peripheral circuits and software use C language and JAVA language. Analyses the feasibility of this platform and it shows that this platform can realize the system related functions.
