Research On The Application Of Regional Culture In Urban Planning

In general trend of global industrial restructuring, China has become a great power of global manufacturing industry. Industry with core of manufacturing has decisive position in current economic pattern of cities in China. Industrialization is the major feature of current economic growth in China, and all the cities take manufacturing as core subject of economic growth. However, a lot of cities neglect their characteristics and regional culture features, and some famous historical and cultural cities also behave in developing orientation of industrialization, in particular. Chinese cities gradually become “test base” of western architects and designers, so novel architectures and “European” design style become fashionable for a time. Therefore, the phenomenon of “one face for thousands of cities” and “one scape for thousands of villages”. However, the historical and cultural protection plan in current phase still mainly is static and negative. With designation of protection area, limit of architecture height, volume and even style and form as main content, it is difficult to have good protection effect in rapid city development.Modern China has entered into rapid urbanization, and the stress of research in new stage becomes how to coordinate the protection and heritance of historical culture in urbanization, promote exploration of non-material cultural heritage and inheritance of folk arts, carry forward traditional culture and regional cultural characteristics, and improve urban culture connotation. By combining experience in historical culture protection at home and abroad with conclusion of experience of implementing historical culture protection strategies in foreign countries, this work illustrates strategies for protecting famous historical and cultural village modern China should insist whenentering into new urbanization stage. In addition, this work provides a new perspective for present historical and cultural village protection and construction, and hopes to give a reference for planning famous historical and cultural village protection through regional culture introduction.Chapter I of this work defines the research content and puts forward research content, meaning and method. Chapter II describes relevant domestic and foreign theories, introduces theoretical development process and current situation in foreign countries, and takes Warsaw as construction example of world cultural heritage. Chapter III pays attention to current situation and problems in this development stage of Meidaizhao historical and cultural village, analyzes historical and cultural characteristics and values of Meidaizhai, and put forward the value orientation of Meidaizhao historical and cultural village. Chapter IV puts forward the strategies and measures for planning Meidaizhao historical and cultural village, and gives general planning method with guidance of historical and cultural protection theory, which is explained with case study and examples. Finally, Chapter V concludes the whole work, and presents the innovation point of this work and the direction of further research in the future.
