With the rapid integration of global economy, the energy necessary for economic development, all countries increasingly dependent on its energy policy, many countries have risen to the national strategic leve l, in a sense, whether the energy supply constraints of a country’s economic development speed. C hinese as the largest developing country in the world, with the rapid development of economy, energy consumption is also growing rapidly, along with the rapid progress of urbanization, the building energy consumption is also growing rapidly, and now the energy consumed by the building energy consumption has accounted for the total 1/3 of the left and right, therefore, building energy conservation has become an important the work of the national energy-saving emission reduction. This paper reviews the current status of the status quo and analysis method of building energy consumption of building energy in C hina, and then the BIM(building information model) definitions are introduced, which presents the modeling principle of BIM technology, and the research status of BIM technology in building energy consumption analysis method based on the review, and then made a comparative analysis the traditional energy analysis method and analysis method of energy consumption based on BIM technology, mainly from the participants, analysis tools, analysis of energy consumption of the process, analysis of the results of the expression, to analyze several aspects of comparison. Summed up the characteristics of BIM technology based on energy analysis method. And a hotel building in Xi’an area as an example, the BIM technology is applied to analyze the building energy consumption based on the analysis of the case, the thermal performance of the building, and the selection of the external walls, windows, the per capita area, ventilation frequency, temperature five main factors that affect the energy consumption of the building, the influence degree of influence factors on by orthogonal test method the building energy consumption analysis.
