Research On Multi Generational Sharing Strategy Of University Community Public Service Facilities Under The Goal Of Helping The Elderly

Since 1999 China has entered the aging society, aging problem is very serious. According to statistics, in 2014 China’s 60 years old and above population reached 212.42 miliilon, accounting for 15.5% of the total population, 0.6 percentage points higher than in 2013. The degree of population aging continued to increase. Universities in our country has a long history, Residential and ancillary construction also has a mature public service facilities. In retirement, the majority of teachers in Colleges and universities will choose to live in the college residential area, Therefore, the aging problem is particularly serious in the University community. Therefore, the aging problem in University community is particularly prominent.Through the relevant theoretical research at home and abroad and the practical experience of the visible, The majority of research mainly concentrated in this single population aged and associated with the physical environment, The existing research for the elderly and other social groups merge with each is not enough. However, to strengthen the interaction between the old and the other generational groups, making the elderly are not disjoint with the society for health care of elderly people has more positive significance to promote.Therefore, This paper focuses on how to strengthen the construction of the public service facility system physical space environment, to Realize the intergenerational interaction, help the retired college teachers after leaving work to continue to play to their strengths to participate in social life, Strengthen the interaction between the old and the other generational groups, To provide a multi interaction environment for living in the residential area of the elderly.This paper chose the Xi’an University Of Architecture And Technology, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an Jiao Tong University and Xi’an Electronic and Science University research of residential district four representative universities. Through field investigation and questionnaire, analyzes and summarizes the morefrequent interaction of public service facilities of residential area in University. And from the university community public service facilities five aspects-- configuration, layout, scale, function and space environment, research on the sharing and helping the elderly in multi generational problems. And puts forward the design principles of university residential area of public service facilities in the intergenerational sharing to help the elder, Proposed strategies from the spatial distribution, scale control, function configuration and space environment four aspects.Combined with the 2014 ICCC international student competition, A further exploration of the strategy through the method of design practice, In order to find a kind of design method, a multi generational helps to improve theuniversity community public service facilities of the space environment, to enable the elderly to enjoy not only can play to our strengths, but also with a number of inter generational population interaction retirement.
