Bridge load test is an important testing method, which can not only understand the health status of the bridge, but also an important way to bridge whole life based on the idea of bridge management and maintenance. It is a delicate and complex work of a direct service of Engineering practice. It relates to the design of the bridge computation theory, experiment and testing technology, instrument performance, statistical analysis, field test organization, it is comprehensive, complex, application. On the basis of analysis of the CFST arch bridge in Handan. The paper carries on the systematic summary of the concrete-filled steel tube arch bridge’s developing history, and makes a detailed instruction about the load test of this kind of bridge, the following aspects are investigated:CFST numerical modeling was establishment through Using finite element analysis software Midas civil, according to bridge structure characteristic and under endogenic force computation determination dead load experiment load operating mode, various operating modes load and unloading process and magnitude, as well as in master control section and section measuring point build. Through the dead load experiment, the determination bridge controls the strain and the amount of deflection value under the experimental load function which in the section determines, carries on the analysis with the model computation theoretical value, had determined bridge actual bearing capacity satisfies the request.CFST Arch Bridge has carried has carried on the theory modality analysis using the finite element model, which can calculate this bridge theory base frequency resonance oscillation. The analysis obtains this bridge in the surface the rigidity to be bigger than outside the surface the rigidity, conforms to the steel pipe concrete arched bridge to inspire the rule. And through the dynamic load test can get the theory that the actual measured value is close to the theoretical value, and the actual measured value is bigger than the theoretical value. It can illustrate the overall force structure is good. Dynamic testing tests the strain increasing coefficient of bridge and self vibration frequency through the fluctuation test and road test, and we can get that the strain increment coefficient is basically in a reasonable range. Through static load test and dynamic load test and analysis, the bearing capacity of bridge and the bridge can be obtained to meet the design requirements, to meet the requirements of normal traffic.
