Hebei JIESHEN new energy Co., Ltd. is developing a pure electric bus which is as the research object, we design of human machine engineering for it ’s cab. In this paper, CATIA V5 R20 is used to design the module of the bus’ s cab. And the ergonomic module of CATIA V5 is used to check the bus’ s cab. Then the basic design and the requirement of the cab are completed. Using the fuzzy mathematics to analysis the level and importance of the bus’ s cab, and determine the weight coefficient of each index. A new ergonomics evaluation system is also established for the pure electric bus by the application of VC++.The followings are the main contents of this paper:Firstly, the three-dimensional about the bus’ s cab is designed. Referencing the related requirements of GB and SAE, the designs of the driver’s seat, the steering wheel, the instrument panel are completed in the component design and creating curved surface design module of the CATIA.Secondly, the ergonomics design of the bus’ s cab is checked. After the design of the model of the pure electric bus, the ergonomics checks of the bus’ s cab are taken, including the sitting position comfort check, the visual field check, the space and the accessibility analysis and check, etc.Thirdly, the weight coefficients are determined by the fuzzy mathematics. Using the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, the factors affecting the cab are listed, which are designed to three levels, 19 evaluation factors. The evaluation grades are determined for each evaluation factor by using the semantic differential method. The evaluation factors matrix of the cab are constructed, and the weight of the cab’s evaluation factors are obtained by using the analytic hierarchy process.Fourthly, the ergonomics evaluation system is established. According to the level of the evaluation factors and it’s corresponding weights, using VC++ to establish a comprehensive evaluation system of the cab. According to the evaluation result of the evaluation system, we can confirmed that it is in accordance with the requirements of ergonomics.
