As the main consumption become younger in average age in modern society, affected by the generation after 80 s and 90 s indoor decoration industry brand loyalty to reduce slowly,one-stop service and personalized requirements increased. New material and new technology drives the development of interior decoration industry, cultivating applied talents and designers that meet the needs of the society and have a creative idea and a solid foundation is the goal of the current design in higher vocational colleges and universities.Building decoration materials and construction technology course is an important basic course of environmental art specialty in Higher Vocational colleges. This course is to cultivate students’ awareness of the materials and to master the construction technology. This article is based on the demand of the industry and the teaching situation of interior design specialty in higher vocational colleges, and discusses the construction decoration materials and construction technology course, so as to further clarify the curriculum structure and teaching purposes, Some suggestions are put forward for the problems in the course of teaching through discussion.There are many problems in building decoration materials and construction technology in the teaching process. In the course of the setting, the curriculum teaching arrangement is too concentrated, the students accept ability is weak, the effect of the teaching effect. The master of curriculum knowledge is not isolated, but the integration of various disciplines, the existing teaching mode, teaching content is not enough to cultivate students’ initiative to learn the relevant knowledge, and make the students can not analyze the vocational ability.Secondly, there are some basic problems in the course of teaching: the teaching content is too much, the combination of the theory and the actual operation is not strong, the knowledge is boring, and the updating speed of teaching material is too slow to keep up with the demand of course teaching. The teaching mode is single and the knowledge structure is not complete in the teaching of building decoration materials and construction technology course, mainly in two aspects, on the one hand, it is heavy theory light practice, On the other hand, ignoring the students’ creative thinking, the creative application of materials in space design has beenweakened. Once again, it is the separation of "learning" and "doing" in the course of teaching practice. The theory and practice of curriculum can not be applied to the following courses and practical projects. Finally, the teaching method and the curriculum mode of the lack of innovation, curriculum teaching means lack of diversification. The problems in the course of the course are affecting the course teaching, which restricts the school education to cultivate practical talents for the industry.This paper analyzes the course teaching ideas, teaching objectives, teaching content and other related, Analysis and summary of the problems occurred during the teaching practice,The existence of these problems prompted us to study the reform of the curriculum teaching.First, adjust the basic structure of the course according to the nature of the course, strengthen the integration of the curriculum and related courses, through the combination of case method to integrate the curriculum into the interior design of professional curriculum system; second,from many aspects construct the group of teachers, to improve teachers’ professional quality;third, the phenomenon of teaching material and teaching break-off is a problem that is easy to appear in this course, To strengthen the construction of teaching materials, optimize the teaching contents and improve the utilization rate of the materials is an important aspect of the curriculum reform.; fourth, the use of heuristic teaching mode, the teaching method, to strengthen the materials market research and construction site teaching, to update the curriculum teaching content and curriculum.With the continuous improvement of market demand, building decoration materials and construction technology teaching methods also need to keep pace with the times, Academy of Fine Arts in Hebei analysis of the current situation and existing problems in the course, and constantly put forward reform methods and suggestions in the teaching process of teaching.College curriculum teaching team is relatively young, the level of teaching is not neat,teaching content is too focused on the practice of the lack of theoretical knowledge learning,teaching content is not uniform, poor contact; the training teaching is restricted by the training conditions. Problems in the course of the reform process have been better solutions and suggestions, the curriculum has been clear about the teaching ideas, according to the characteristics of the course, the construction of a variety of teaching methods and methods tomeet the characteristics of the school has been completed. In the curriculum reform, the college has constantly improved the practice facilities and environmental construction, the college has cooperated with many enterprises, so that the enterprise to provide students with the practical teaching of the project site.
