In the electrical equipment in the substation, the capacity of the equipment is greatly affected by the capacity of the equipment, which directly affects the stable operation of the power system. Based on the above background, this paper studies and designs an on-line monitoring system for capacitive equipment in substation, and is expected to provide a powerful guarantee for the stable and reliable operation of power system.Firstly the topic research background and research significance are described, the research status of wireless sensor network are analyzed. Then related research topics are introduced, such as data sampling theory, sampling theorem, quantization and quantization error of basic knowledge, signal sampling technology, wireless sensor network technology, wireless data transmission technology and wireless network technology. The overall structure of an on-line monitoring system for capacitive equipment is constructed, and the data acquisition circuit of high accuracy sensor and USB interface circuit are introduced in detail; the high precision current sensor is described and optimized, and the hardware control of wireless sensor network node is introduced. Finally, the wireless network cards used in the system are discussed. In the design of sensor network software,First of all, the system software is designed, and those software for the USB driver and the wireless network card driver are developed, and then the wireless communication program and the client program and server side program are done by using the current popular SOCKET communication technology. At the end, tthe signal acquisition capability of the on-line monitoring system is verified by the analysis of the standard signal source.
