The Mobile Application Software Research Of Inland Waterway Electronic Cruise Based On Android Platform

Inland waterway is an important transportation infrastructure in China, however, due to cutting in, overload, and part of the crew quality is poor, collision, shipwreck and other traffic accidents have occurred from time to time. Concerning this issue, through innovation concept, China’s maritime administration puts forward a concept of electronic cruise. That is to say, with the platform of geographic information system and electronic channel chart, integration of VTS, AIS and other monitoring system, and a complete set of maritime data center, a unified platform for cruising warning can be built. This paper studies and develops a system of electronic cruise based on Android platform, which can realize electronic cruise on mobile device, such as mobile phone and tablet, and better take the advantage of the system.This paper analyzes and designs inland waterway electronic cruise system based on Android platform, which contains database design, server program and a client APP so as to cruise automatically. First of all, this paper establishes a DB2 database and offers data support for the entire mobile electronic cruise system. And then, the mobile electronic cruise system builds distributed applications based on SOAP Web Services and designs technical architecture and background service interfaces of the system, which consist of navigation management area, cruise plan, ship cruise, cruise report, and other function modules. Moreover, this paper designs the electronic cruise logic and puts forward a kind of automatic detection algorithm and warning algorithm of ship retrograde violation in the inland waterway traffic separation. At last, the client APP was designed and implemented, including query of ship information, cruise report, and ship query and monitoring on baidu map and inland waterway electronic chart respectively.The mobile electronic cruise system divides ship monitoring task from single monitoring center to all ports and waterway administrations and management personnel, which is convenient for users to monitor the ship and can simplify the workflow of inland waterway ship management, improve the flexibility and efficiency of ship monitoring, and provide new safeguard for the safety of inland waterway ship navigation.
